San Briccio Hill, not many kilometres north-east from Verona, between
valley of Mezzane and the one of Marcellise, belongs to the Lessini
mountains. In the village have been discovered interesting archaeological
materials, that go back to the prehistory, the Roman Age, the Middle
Ages and more over.
Another important element for the inhabitants of San Briccio is the fort "the good giant dominates and watchs over the houses along the hill's slopes". It has been recently restore und today it's an exhibition and cultural meeting centre.
Very interesting is also the peasant culture exhibition, that displays a full series of ancient objects and implements. They have been gathered up and restored with passion by the inhabitants, trying to rebuild an history, that could make us live again scenes of daily life too far away from our actual kind of life.
